I had started a page for this album from the Samplers main page, until I found this one. Doh! Perhaps I should have checked first. It make no sense for there to be two pages. The two releases are sufficiently different to merit their own sections, but I think they belong together, and here. I will merge my page into this one. --Rodhullandemu 14:21, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reissue?

I can't see that it is reasonable to describe the 2007 album as a reissue of the original - they only have three tracks in common, so it would be more correct to say that "A Breath of Fresh Air" is a completely different compilation which borrows (partly) the name of the vinyl album. I'm not sure this can easily be remedied without a complete rewrite and possibly creating a new page. Jon Rob (talk) 11:14, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Have amplified the difference between the two albums in the lead section. Since most of the tracks/bands featured have articles elsewhere, there needs to be little expansion here and I don't think there's much merit in splitting the article- there is sufficient nexus betwenn the two (as there was between the two "Rock Machine" albums) to keep them on the same page for the time being. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 14:36, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pink Floyd credit on the original album

I'm puzzled by the statement "Some editions do not credit the track to Pink Floyd on the inside cover." So far as I'm aware, no editions of this album credit any tracks to any artists on the inside cover. The inside of the gatefold cover includes reproductions of the front covers of the albums from which the tracks were taken, which for a previously unreleased track would be an impossibility. But in any case, there are no references to any of the track titles there, the only track listing on any version of the cover, so far as I am aware, is on the back although the front cover does name the artists featured. So is it the back cover from which Pink Floyd's name has been removed? Or the front? Or did the cover at some point undergo a complete redesign affecting the inside of the gatefold?
