possible merger

Should the separate article now at Alcove Historic District be merged into this aticle at Alcove, New York? The historic district article now includes a link to the NRHP nomination document (read most easily using MS Internet Explorer), which contains maps of the district's area. Could someone could judge whether the HD is substantially the same as the hamlet or not? That would be a major consideration. --doncram (talk) 22:35, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would have no problem with a merger to either name, I dont believe the boundaries established in the historic district differ from unofficial local ideas of what the hamlet is as a place-name. I lack the technical abilities to do a merger however. Feel free to do so. PS- I use Firefox, would I still be able to read the document?Camelbinky (talk) 00:33, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
