Chalisgaon pronunciation is a town and a municipal council located in Jalgaon district in the state of Maharashtra, India.

The city is connected with major cities of Maharashtra such as Dhule by railway and road, Aurangabad by road, Mumbai, Pune by railway. Dhule and Aurangabad are the nearest airports.

Geography

Chalisgaon is located at 20°28′N 75°01′E / 20.47°N 75.02°E / 20.47; 75.02.[1] It has an average elevation of 344 metres (1128 feet).[2]
