Template:Linkless Marwan Hamadi was a Lebanese economy minister injured in a car bomb explosion on October 1, 2004 that started probes into attacks of Lebanese journalists and politicians supposedly ordered by Syrian officials. Marwan Hamadi resigned soon after the explosion in protest. Hamadi is a critic of Syrian occupation of Lebanon and aligned himself with Druze leader Walid Jumblat. [1]
