My Contributions

I wrote the article on the Burundi Genocide, Bank of Hamilton, and Srebrenica (though the first paragraphs are from the original stub). I also contributed text and photos to the article on the City of Thorold.

I tend to limit myself when editing pages as I know how touchy people can get, but I felt two warranted serious expansion. As such, my two editing contributions were on the following articles: Arusha Accords, UNAMIR.

Education

My self-professed spheres of knowledge are in Conflict Resolution, English, History, Peace Studies and Political Science (my degree is extremely interdisciplinary). As of late, I have largely focused my attention on the various genocides occurring throughout history.

I am currently in my fourth year of a Combined Honours degree in English and Peace Studies in Ontario, Canada.

The more notable of (my) university courses taken are as follows:

  • Violence Through an Anthropological Perspective (Anthropology)
  • Literature in English: Longer Genres (English)
  • A History of English Literature (English)
  • Creative Writing (English)
  • Popular Culture (English)
  • Modernity, Postmodernity, Visuality (English)
  • Extensive Reading of Shakespeare (English)
  • The British Novel (English)
  • Introduction to French Studies: Intermediate Level (French)
  • America and the World: From the Colonial Period to the Twentieth Century (History)
  • Trade Unions (Labour Studies)
  • Conflict Transformation (Peace Studies)
  • Genocide: Sociological and Political Perspectives (Political Science)
  • Theory and Practice of Non-violence (Religious Studies)
  • The Life and Thought of Mohandas Gandhi (Religious Studies)
  • War and Peace in the Christian Tradition (Religious Studies)
