Bettina Schausten

Bettina Schausten (born February 18 1965 in Lüdinghausen) is a German journalist.

Life

In Cologne and in Munich Schausten studied from 1986 to 1992 literature, history and catholic theology. From 1992 to 1996 Schausten worked for German broadcaster SWF as tv-reporter.[1]From 1999 to 2002 she was moderator of tv-show ZDF-Morgenmagazin. Schausten was from 2003 until 2010 moderator of German tv-show Politbarometer on German broadcaster ZDF. Since March 2019 Schausten is second Editor-in-chief of ZDF.[1] [2] Since 2008 she is married with German journalist Thomas Fuhrmann.
