Suggestion

Hi, thank you for assigning projects to drafts. I wanted to suggest that you don't add the "Biography" project. When reviewers accept a draft, they are asked by the script "Is this page a biography"? Clicking "yes" opens up a few more fields. Then the script tags the project with the "Biography" project automatically. It's not a big deal, but this results in the page being tagged "Wikiproject Biography" twice. See for example: Talk:Moises Lino e Silva. --K.e.coffman (talk) 17:41, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, K.e.coffman. In theory, I would be glad to fix it: the name of the project is in the edit summary, which makes it easier to find. However, my intent is to make the draft visible to the wikiproject as soon as it is started; the hypothesis is that exposing a new draft to experts in the topic improves its quality and the quality of feedback to the newcomer who wrote the draft.
I would be glad to file a bug with the script. It is AFCH 0.9.1. Here it is: https://github.com/WPAFC/afch-rewrite/issues/101
As a compromise, I'd be glad to cease my additions of biography (i.e. skip biography articles in my markings) until this bug is fixed. I think this would be a great way to reduce manual work that needs to be done by reviewers. Gryllida (talk) 19:09, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A question

Why did my edit on this article get changed?

User script idea

Hello! Hope you're well. Since you are familiar with user scripts and the like, I wondering if you knew of any automated way to count how many articles that pass AfC eventually become nominated for DYK. I wrote about this at meta:Grants:IdeaLab/From AfC to DYK, then promptly forgot about it until you offered in live chat to write me a script for something completely unrelated. Counting the articles may not need a script; in any case, you may know better than I do what this task may entail, technology-wise.
