Nicholas Galitzine (born September 29, 1994) is an English actor.[1] He became known for his roles in the films High Strung (2016) and Handsome Devil (2016).
Early life
Galitzine was born on September 29, 1994 and grew up in London, England. He was born to an English entrepreneur father and a Greek-American mother. He has a sister named Lexi Galitzine. At the age of 10, he sang in the choir. After high school, he attended Dulwich College in London. He later went to a youth theatre company at the Pleasance in Islington to pursue his burgeoning passion for acting.[2][3]
In his childhood, Galitzine was trained as a rugby player as well as showed his love for football. He also participated in county-level athletics competitions.[4]
Career
Galitzine got his first role in the film The Beat Beneath My Feet in 2014, starring alongside Luke Perry.[5] He also performed several songs for the original soundtrack of the movie.[6]
In 2015, he appeared in one episode of the TV series Legends. He was named "Star of Tomorrow" by Screen International.[7]
In 2016, he starred in the American drama High Strung, in which he played a young violonist who performs in the subway station.[8] He played the closeted gay in the Irish comedy-drama Handsome Devil, which was later nominated for five awards at the 15th Irish Film & Television Awards.[9]
In 2017, he took part in the New Zealand mystery drama The Changeover.[10] In The Watcher in the Woods, he played opposite the Academy Award-winning actress, Anjelica Huston.[11]
Galitzine was cast for his first major TV role in Netflix horror drama series Chambers, which he co-starred with Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn.[12] In 2019, he played in drama film Share.[13]
He was reported to have joined the cast of The Craft, which is a remake of the eponymous movie in 1996.[14]

Galitzine lives in Hammersmith, London, England.[15]
