Dosidon (ドサイドン, Dosaidon) are one of the Template:Pokenum fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Dosidon in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2] Dosaidon is famous for being the evolved form of Rhydon, a Pokémon from a previous generation, and for appearing in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
Biological Characteristics
It appears to be a stylized, bipedal black Rhydon with red plates. It's second horn grew out from a Rhydon having the main horn pointed forward with an Ankylosaur tail.
In addition to it's extra armory, It has also developed holes in the palms of it's hands. Dosidon stuff rocks in them to fire at enemies, Thus why it learns Rock Cannon. On rare occasions, it fires Geodudes that were mistaken for ordinary rocks.
Also, Dosidon literally looks like a tank, being very large and heavy, along with being covered in armour and possessing two cannons for arms, not to mention that it's attack and defence stats make it a deadly physical tank as well.
In the video games
Dosidon can be obtained by trading a Rhydon with the Protector item equipped. Dosidon's Attack, Defense and Hit Points are all very high at 140, 130 and 115 respectively; its Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed (which is actually unchanged from Rhydon's), however, are all very low. Dosidon is extremely weak to Water and Grass attacks, as well as being weak to Fighting, Ground, Ice, and Steel attacks. It is also immune to Electric attacks, extremely resistant to Poison attacks, and resistant to Normal, Flying, Fire, and Rock attacks. Its ability, Hard Rock, lowers the damage taken from super-effective attacks. It can also exclusively learn Rock Cannon, a physical Rock-type version of Hyper Beam.
