Tyler Jamal Brown[3] (born May 23, 1995),[4] known professionally as Tyla Yaweh, is an American singer-songwriter originating from Orlando, Florida currently signed to London Entertainment.

Early life

Yaweh was born in Orlando, Florida and supported himself as a drug dealer while working at a local Dunkin' Donuts until he was evicted by his mother for the criminal behavior. After arriving in Los Angeles he was discovered by Post Malone and Dre London who went on to sign him to their label London Entertainment.[5]

Career

Yaweh's single "Drugs and Pain" was released in November 2017 by London Entertainment as well as the singles "Wildlife", "Gemini" and "Goals", featuring Preme. All three tracks performed well, achieving millions of streams across Spotify, YouTube and SoundCloud. The rapper has also performed at festivals such as SXSW, Rolling loud and Made in America as well as touring Australia[6] and Europe supporting Post Malone that concluded with a show at the O2 Arena in London.[5][2]
