Bayou George is an unincorporated community in Bay County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Panama City–Lynn Haven–Panama City Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. Bayou George is named after a waterway that flows into part of Saint Andrews Bay. The main roads through the community are US 231 and former SR 167, now [[County Road 2301 (Bay County, Florida)|County Road 231 it is close to chipley and is on the eastern part of highway 231 it is 20 minutes from panama city and is a suburb of it is a inland city and a coastal city it is in western bay county 50 minutes from chipley and 20 minutes from fountain
GEOGRAPHY bayou george is on deer point lake 20 minutes from panama city and 50 minutes from chipley half of it is land and water its main water features are deer point lake and bayou george creek it is on highway 231 that goes from chipley to panama city when you go from panama city to bayou george you go from the panama city mall you keep going for a while into you hit a forested area and then you have a chance to go south on the road to lynn haven then you keep going into you reach a industrial area and after your on the bayou george bridge your in bayou george
