Khajipalem
Khajipalem is a serene village located near bapatla in guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. A kshatriya dominated village, it has a population of around 1000 people spread over an area of 0.5 sq.km. It is situated 8km(direct distance) from the beach as a result of which cool breezes mesmerize its residents even in hot summers. As a result many outsiders prefer to holiday there for the environment and ambience. It's populace are mainly dependent on farming in the lands they have acquired from their ancestors. It is an educational hub for that area having 2 well established english medium schools and a junior college in addition to the government high school, an elimentary school and a telugu medium school. It is well known for it's famous temple of lord shiva. Other temples include a temple of Lord Rama, Narasimha swamy and that of village diety ennadamma talli. With good transportation facilities and roads it is well connected to nearby towns and cities. Four beautiful lakes, two canals, coconut farms and vast extents of greenery provide the perfect background for the ultimate village experience.
