Mugdha Chaphekar is an Indian television actress who has worked in shows like Star Plus's Prithviraj Chauhan and Zee TV's Satrangi Sasural. She won The Best Actress Debut for The Silence at the 53rd Maharashtra State Film Awards 2016. The film released in 2017 and dealt with child sexual abuse within family and was directed by Gajendra Ahire.[1] She was awarded the "Best Actress" title by Maharashtra Government.[2] As of 2019 she has joined the main cast of Kumkum Bhagya and playing Prachi Arora in the Zee TV series. Winner of STAR Parivaar Award for Favourite Yogya Jodi for Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan (2007), Zee Rishtey Award 2014 for Favourite Naya Sadasya (Female) for Satrangi Sasural, Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Female) at Gold Awards 2019, and Best Naya Sadasya Female At Zee Rishtey Awards 2019.
