Cecil Maguire (1930-2020) was an Irish landscape and figure painter.

Maguire was born in Lurgan, County Armagh. He graduated from QUB in 1951 and took up an English teaching post in Lurgan College. He became a member of the RUA in 1974.

In 1981 he retired from teaching to concentrate on painting and travelling.

He spent a great part of each year in Roundstone, Connemara.
