GOLD GOLDENFRITZ TRIPLE THREE (talk) 07:01, 8 June 2019 (UTC) Just basic information
- Hi, GOLD GOLDENFRITZ TRIPLE THREE. This is the wrong place to put this. This page is for the Teahouse hosts to discuss the operation of the Teahouse. If you have a question, it goes at WP:TEAHOUSE. I would suggest you formulate a more specific question, though. Basically, learning Wikipedia is kinda a self taught thing. We are there to help you through places where you are confused, but you have to take the first steps yourself. Perhaps you may want to try The Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive learning experience in the form of a video game. I'll leave some information in the form of a welcome message on your talk page (if no one has beat me to it), but you've gotta get as far on your own that you can ask specific questions. Be bold, Wikipedia is almost impossible to break. You're new. If you make mistakes, no one will hold them against you. Welcome aboard. Try some things. Perhaps after you do, more specific questions will come to mind. John from Idegon (talk) 08:42, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
"Sign here"
I'm wondering if it might be a good idea to tweak "Wikipedia:Teahouse/Host start" to change "Sign here" to "Enter your username here" in the "Make me a host" section. I (and apparently a few others) took "Sign here" to mean WP:TILDE. Maybe this is not a big deal, but my "signature" was then added to the section heading of my profile on the "Host landing" page. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:53, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Marchjuly: This page is no longer in use. All discussions on management of the Teahouse should be posted at Wikipedia talk:Teahouse. (That said, I've implemented your suggestion. Thanks.) Nick Moyes (talk) 09:49, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
- My bad. I didn't notice the template at the top of the page. -- Marchjuly (talk) 12:13, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
Reformatting: Two-column design?
The list of hosts is incredibly long. Is there any way that it could be reformatted (nicely) to have two columns and yet still show all the wonderful design elements currently set into each entry? Just a thought! Prometheus720 (talk) 18:18, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Prometheus720: Apparently this talk page is no longer used (see template at the top of the page) and questions should be asked WT:THQ instead. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:50, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

I would like to request for the privilege of being a host, I now understands what Wikipedia requires. Historychannel754 (talk) 13:16, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- Not done Hosts have demonstrated through their edit history that they are knowledgeable in Wikipedia guidelines and editing. As you are still a newly registered user, you will need to show that you have this knowledge through your contributions to be formally listed as a host. 331dot (talk) 13:35, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

I request you to provide me a role for Extended confirmed user because i love to became the host of Teahouse. Zebuready (talk) 16:16, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Not done: this is not the right page to request additional user rights. You may reopen this request with the specific changes to be made and someone will add them for you. That said, Zebuready, you registered your account two days ago and have 137 edits (including this one). I'm sorry, but that's not enough experience to either become a Teahouse host or to become extended-confirmed. Please stick around and contribute in other ways. There's a lot of things to do and if you find an area you're interested in, you'll reach extended-confirmed in no time anyway. Thanks for your interest. Declined - Hi and welcome to our Talkpage at the Teahouse. You must meet certain criteria. The first is you need to have a username as an IP editor cannot be assigned rights. You also need to be here 30 days or more under your username. If you need anything else, please let us know. NOTE this talkpage is not for seeking help, you need to use the Teahouse main page. I was wondering if you could put me as the role of an extended confirmed user. I think I would do good at that task. I would appreciate it. Have a great day! Wale18 (talk) 01:48, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
