Mugdha Chaphekar is an Indian television and film actress who was born in Mumbai.[1] She is well known for her television projects, where she was noticed first in the epic historical serial Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan[2] Her prominence resumed in 2015 as she appeared in Zee TV's Satrangi Sasural opposite her future husband Ravish Desai whom she married in 2016.[3] As of March 2019 Chaphekar is popular for her parallel lead character, Prachi Mehra in Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya.[4] She has won many awards for her portrayals in these shows.[5]
