Schools

McKinley School has not been demolished. It still stands today as the Board of Education Office. 12.36.188.174 18:41, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some possible copyright infringement issues with article

I've recently noticed that much of the text from this article is a word-for-word copy from another website, also about Salem, Ohio. The other webpage is: http://www.salemohio.com/tourism/index.html.

Can someone please verify that this information is permitted, according to Wikipedia standards? Thanks BFDhD 21:44, 27 November 2006 (UTC)BFDhD[reply]

Is Salem Politically separate from Perry Township?

I emailed one of the Columbiana County Commissioners. I doubt they're going to check it what with the Holiday but I'm fairly Certain that once a Village reaches City Status They tend to sever their ties to the township . mostly to stop having to share property taxes.
