Goran Slavkovski (born 8 April 1989, in Skravlinge, Sweden) is a Swedish football player with Macedonian origins. Slavkovski currentlys plays for Internazionale. His nickname is; Ibrahimović the second, because of their roots in the Balkans, and playing for Malmö FF.
He made his first team debut at the age of 17 years and one month on May 7, 2006 in a Serie A league match against A.C. Siena, taking the field at the 83rd minute, thus becoming the youngest footballer ever to play for Inter Milan. Previously, this record was owned by Giuseppe Bergomi.
He made his Coppa Italia debut against F.C. Messina Peloro, 29 November, 2006. He has been recentley linked with English giants Manchester United.
Internationals
Recently the media was talking about a "war" going on between the Macedonian, Swedish and even the Croatian football federation, all in attempt to get him to join their national football teams. Slavkovski and his father have stated that it would be an honour to play for his country of origin, Macedonia but still did not made up his mind yet. On May 17th Goran Slavkovski was invited by the Macedonian Prime minister to attend a meeting on his chances for playing in the Macedonian national football team, however Goran himself could not come due to his commitment to Inter, instead his father and his manager will travel to Macedonia and meet with the prime minister and the Macedonian football federation.
Trivia: he has scoring 274 goals in 215 matches for Malmö FF youth-teams.
