It's from official site of the School

You removed the History of St. Edward's School, Shimla but here is the link of that from the website of School [[1]]. So please reverte your recent edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by UlaBrita 838 (talkcontribs) 22:39, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@UlaBrita 838: You copied directly from the website. This is not allowed on Wikipedia. I will not undo my revert and if you continue to add back the copyrighted information I will report you to admins. Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 22:47, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jair Bolsonaro

You thanked me for my edit of Jair Bolsonaro ,but my edit has been reverted, saying that it was irrelevant. Please ensure that my edit is unreported. Ppt2003 (talk) 16:21, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry , unreverted ,not unreported Ppt2003 (talk) 16:22, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ppt2003: I thought the edit was fine, if another editor reverted your edit you need to talk to the other user to see a rationale for their reversion. It is not on me to undo a revert from another editor. Thanks, Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 20:08, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hello, Andrew nyr

Thank you for creating Raritan Bay Medical Center.

User:North8000, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Nice work! I think that the tags that are already on there are appropriate and recommend adding independent sources.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

North8000 (talk) 12:00, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@North8000: I just wanted to say if yu look in the contribs, I originally created the page as a redirect to Hackensack Meridian Health but another editor came in and created a page over the redirect so the page shows that it was created by me. I have issues with the page but I have made changes that were reverted by another page editor and I do not want to enter into an edit war so I have stayed far away from that page. Thanks, Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 20:07, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the info and the ping. If you ever decide to re-enter and would like another set of eyes there let me know. Sincerely, North8000 (talk) 21:23, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Children's hospital, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Young adult (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Articles for Creation: List of reviewers by subject notice

Hi Andrew nyr, you are receiving this notice because you are listed as an active Articles for Creation reviewer.

Recently a list of reviewers by area of expertise was created. This notice is being sent out to alert you to the existence of that list, and to encourage you to add your name to it. If you or other reviewers come across articles in the queue where an acceptance/decline hinges on specialist knowledge, this list should serve to facilitate contact with a fellow reviewer.

To end on a positive note, the backlog has dropped below 1,500, so thanks for all of the hard work some of you have been putting into the AfC process!

Sent to all Articles for Creation reviewers as a one-time notice. To opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page. Regards, Sam-2727 (talk)

Speedy deletion declined: Alfred Kiprato Kerich

Hello Andrew nyr. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Alfred Kiprato Kerich, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: members of parliament are presumed to be significant for purposes of A7. Thank you. SoWhy 10:22, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SoWhy:: What about the WP:BIO "People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject." Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 15:28, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Andrew nyr. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Stenckel von Bentheim, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: being mentioned in a notable chronicle indicates significance. Thank you. SoWhy 10:49, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Inventor of Coca Cola

John Stith Pemberton was a Confederate, documented in history. 3rd Calvary of Georgia State guard. Why should we dismiss this? Bawse625 (talk) 02:09, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Bawse625, you really think we're going to roll with that? Seriously? Shouldn't you be on Facebook? No one needs you to tell us the Confederacy was a group of slave-owning loser traitors, but thanks. Drmies (talk) 02:11, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So this is an acceptable omission of which side the inventor of coca cola was on? Bawse625 (talk) 02:13, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bawse625: The only response for you that I have is: I am a Democrat and I agree, but political language such as the your message do not belong on Wikipedia because of the clearly defined policy, WP:NPOV Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 03:04, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@andrew. Thank you for the level headed and educated response. I didn't think current political parties mattered so much, I do believe it's critical to note the past in it's entirety. Especially being that Patterson held rank. I can say that my language was very pointed and I was wrong in that regard. However, as I said this man held rank for the Confederacy and I do not believe it should be omitted. Please excuse me for "writing off the cuff". Bawse625 (talk) 03:25, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Chp logopurple.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. New Page Reviewer newsletter June 2020

Hello Andrew nyr,

Your help can make a difference

NPP Sorting can be a great way to find pages needing new page patrolling that match your strengths and interests. Using ORES, it divides articles into topics such as Literature or Chemistry and on Geography. Take a look and see if you can find time to patrol a couple pages a day. With over 10,000 pages in the queue, the highest it's been since ACPERM, your help could really make a difference.

Google Adds New Languages to Google Translate

In late February, Google added 5 new languages to Google Translate: Kinyarwanda, Odia (Oriya), Tatar, Turkmen and Uyghur. This expands our ability to find and evaluate sources in those languages.

Discussions and Resources
  • A discussion on handling new article creation by paid editors is ongoing at the Village Pump.
  • Also at the Village Pump is a discussion about limiting participation at Articles for Deletion discussion.
  • A proposed new speedy deletion criteria for certain kinds of redirects ended with no consensus.
  • Also ending with no change was a proposal to change how we handle certain kinds of vector images.

Autopatrolled granted

Hi Andrew nyr, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Schwede66 23:49, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
