Template:Infobox bishopbiogThe Most Reverend Dr. Charles McNally (born in 1787 at Ardaghy, Co. Monaghan) was a priest in the Diocese of Clogher ordained on 13 June of 1813. He was appointed the Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Clogher in Ireland in September 1843 and became bishop on 20 February 1844, following the death of his predecessor, Dr. Edward McKernan.[1] He died in office in on 21 November 1864 having served as bishop of his diocese for over twenty years. Dr. McNally was succeeded by Bishop James Donnelly.
