Devil's Gate is 2017 American supernatural horror film written and directed by Clay Staub from a screenplay by Peter Aperlo. The film stars Amanda Schull, Shawn Ashmore, Milo Ventimiglia, Bridget Regan and Jonathan Frakes.

It had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 24, 2017. It is scheduled to be released on January 5, 2018, by IFC Films.

Plot

Daria Francis in affiance was killed to travel to Devil's Gate, a small town in North Dakota, to investigates all the desperate by your surrender of Maria Pritchard and her son Jonah. This kind of town, at the prime suspect is the husband and father Jackson Pritchard, back it lives and the farm in the middle of nowhere.

However Sheriff Gruenwell needs Francis to rift Jackson alone since he would be a good man. Conrad "Colt" Salter heads with Francis to interview Maria's sister after his predecessor dies of a heart attack trying or Jackson that after detective by the outrun of curse breakers, doing that leaves and her house my convinced that Jackson think your fight them. When they arrive at his farm, Jackson assaults Maria and she enters the house to investigate, and finds a weird thing. What is Jackson hiding?

On review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 33% based on 15 reviews, and an average rating of 5.5/10. The website's critical consensus reads, "What’s most disappointing is that Staub proves himself to be a formidable director of action and visual effects. Please, someone just give him a better story."[2]
