RfC notifications

David Tornheim, to be fair, I did ask for 100 notifications a month. This wasn't a very sensible request from me, but the bot was doing what it was told. ~~ Alex Noble/1-2/TRB 08:51, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Some of us feel that 100 per month means no more than ~3 per day. I requested what I thought was ~1 per day, so I was none to happy to be deluged with ~30 notifications all at once when the bot was fired up after the old bot stopped working. This behavior suggested that I would have to wait another month to get a notification about any fresh RfCs--again, not what I had in mind. I ended up increasing my rate to 60. Now it seems to be acting more like the old bot did. --David Tornheim (talk) 09:07, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
