Mutaib bin Abdul Aziz is the member of the Saudi Arabia's ruling Al Saud family. He is has held senior government positions for several decades and has served as the Minister for Municipal & Rural Affairs since 1975. Though he is among over 20 surviving sons of the late Abdul Aziz ibn Saud, his only full brother is Mishaal bin Abdul Aziz. Due to his lengthy tenure in government, Prince Mutaib holds the #3 position, following Crown Prince Sultan and Prince Abd al-Rahman bin Abdul Aziz, in the Al Saud's line of succession for the throne, which may considers age and goverment tenure as significant criterias.
