- Oman's Health Minister Ahmed bin al-Saeedi says that the country saw a "scary" jump of cases in the past 24 hours, reporting 1,361 new cases and three deaths, reaching a total of 42,555 cases and 188 deaths. He says that the country will boost its hospitals capacity and intensive care units. (Reuters)
