Uraz [ˈuras] (Template:Lang-de) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Oborniki Śląskie, within Trzebnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1]

It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Oborniki Śląskie, 16 kilometres (10 mi) south-west of Trzebnica, and 19 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

History

In the middle of the 13th century, there was a prince's stronghold in Uraz, managed by the castellan.
