Sitara: Let Girls Dream is a 2020 Pakistani computer animated short film directed and written by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. The plot revolves around six-year-old Mehr and her 14-year-old sister Pari.[1][2]

Plot

The film takes on a journey through the old city of Lahore, where, Pari, a fourteen-year-old girl dreams of becoming a pilot and whose story is told through the perspective of her younger sister, Mehr.

Release

Sitara: Let Girls Dream was released on March 8, 2020 on Netflix on the occasion of International Women's Day.[1]
