Lynn Dickey

Lynn Dickey was born in 1949 as Clifford Lynn Dickey and played quarterback for professional teams the Houston Oilers and Green Bay Packers in the 1970's and 1980's. Dickey was born in Miami County, Kansas in 1949 and grew up in the community of Osawatomie. After successful high school playing, he was recruited by Kansas State University in 1967 and was the top quarterback for the conference his last three seasons. Upon his graduation in 1971, he was recruited by the Houston Oilers and played for three seasons. His career was most successful with the Green Bay Packers, from 1974 to 1985. He retired from professional football after the 1985 season and relocated to the Greater Kansas City Area where he opened a football themed restaurant. After a business partner was found to be unethical, he left the restaurant for a career in public relations. Dickey has three grown daughters and resides in Leawood. Still living as of 2005.
