Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Tulu Nadu. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Panda619 (talk) 18:37, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edit reason

Dear sir/ma'am , it was only out of sheer necessity & genuine intention that the information on the news channel's page was edited. A detailed description of my edits is found in the article's talk section which you may read and since the page has only 4 talk topics currently active, by expanding on the earlier talk conversations you will find that exactly similar such earlier edits in the first paragraph have been removed by several other contributors on earlier occasions.

Kini moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Kini, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ArbCom 2019 election voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Tulu people, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Stop removing sourced content, just because something has separate article doesn't mean you need to remove summary of that article topic written in other related articles Panda619 (talk) 23:21, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

About hiding some information

Dear Wikipedian, Why you want to hide this information which is imported from the reference url  : "The name is from Konkani še?n?y ‘accountant’, ‘clerk’, from Sanskrit senapati ‘commander of an army’ (from sena ‘army’ + pati ‘lord’). "[1] Dr.SunBD (talk) 18:45, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Kini concern

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Kini, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:23, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nagavanshi

The bunt community of tulunad belong to nagavamshi clan . The members of the community worship Naga God. Ajay Shetty tulunad (talk) 14:02, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please cite a reliable source claiming the same. It will be added to the article. Cheers! PageImp (talk) 14:09, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Kini

Hello, PageImp. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Kini".

If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 14:23, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

July 2020

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bunt (community); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

Hi, you are not new here but you are reverting me at Bunt (community) to repeatedly insert a book that is a mirror of Wikipedia. You are also claiming in your edit summary that we should trust the community's claim to be kshatriya but, of course, it is well known that Indian castes often glorify their position and, of course, they are not independent as required by WP:V. Sitush (talk) 18:11, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Important Notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Warning

After being told that you were using a Wikipedia mirror as a reference, and were about to violate the 3RR restriction, you instead removed the entire well-sourced "Varna Classification" section. That's disruptive. You have been alerted to the discretionary sanctions for India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. You are likely to be topic banned at least from caste-related pages if such disruption continues. Bishonen | tålk 19:31, 17 July 2020 (UTC).[reply]

Sorry for the disruptive edits. But let’s just be clear. Was the Bunt community “officially” categorised? How can one publication claim for its status? The Varna system was not prevalent in South India and the Bunt caste was not part of the chaturvarna system. The classification mentioned in the publication seemed more like an opinion. Claims like Upper Shudra/Clean Shudra/Kshatriya etc should not be added as it would confuse readers. I apologise for the mirror links. But such claims should not be made until it is official. PageImp (talk) 19:41, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No, you were happy to add kshatriya as the varna and then threw your toys out of the pram when you realised that you could not have that. Suddenly, you think varna should not be mentioned at all! Strikes me that is someone who is here to promote a caste glorifying agenda. - Sitush (talk) 00:57, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Agenda? Haha. It seems like you are running your own propaganda here and as seen in the talk page “targeting the Bunt community” page. When you have been already accused of adding false statements, don’t you have some shame left?

I added Kshatriya as sources and many websites mention so. But will now research on one and put it across here and this time it won’t be mirror link. Just because you have certain rights, don’t think your above anyone. PageImp (talk) 03:45, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
