Kamau Mahakoe moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Kamau Mahakoe, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Most of the citations are to back up the existence of the books and not to back up the article, which might have led to some confusion. I removed all of those. I also removed data which I cannot find a citation for (but knew). The article relies on six sources, of which five are newspaper articles which are about the subject, the school, or her family, and mention the subject and her actions. The sixth is an autobiography, and therefore self-published. I hope it's useful as an autobiography is a way to get information which is difficult to get elsewhere, and most peoples' autobiographies are probably not too untruthful on where and how they found their interests. But, that material can also go, which would leave the material from the school ,for which she has gained most of her notability, and which is spoken about most in the media coverage. I don't believe a peer reviewed article is appropriate for this subject, though they has received media coverage otherwise. Is it fine if the article is short but the information in it is cited and also relevant to the citations? How many citations are required? --Maronaut (talk) 05:57, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I added the ISBNs. Is this good for resubmition? --Maronaut (talk) 07:29, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
