Christopher Cannon (medievalist)

Christopher Cannon is a mediaevalist at Johns Hopkins University. He is currently Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of English and Classics, Chair of Classics, and Vice Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

He was educated at Harvard University (AB, MA, PhD) and prior to moving to Hopkins in 2017 was Chair of English at New York University. He has taught at the University of Oxford, UCLA, and University of Cambridge.
