BackupHDDVD is a java based command line utility to backup HD DVD format movies decrypting the AACS protection. It is coded by a programmer nicknamed "muslix64" and initially posted at the doom9.org forums. The decryption methodology is similar to DeCSS, exploiting and extracting the weak player keys. The program is in early development stage and have some bugs as muslix64 mentioned at the FAQ.
