- Keep, searching google-books I see a large number of sources covering this legend and its possible association with the Spot-bellied eagle-owl. Ignoring fringe cryptzoology sources, there are also sources covering folklore ([1]) as well as coverage in bird books ([2][3]). --Eostrix (🦉 hoot hoot🦉) 06:17, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
