Joshua Espineli Garcia (born October 7, 1997) is a Filipino actor who is best known for his role in the primetime series The Good Son and the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Vince and Kath and James.
Born and raised in Bauan, Batangas, Garcia was dubbed by the Filipino reality show Pinoy Big Brother as "Tatay's Boy ng Batangas."[1] He was one of the teen housemates who spent days inside the country's most popular house, the PBB house, to live with 17 other housemates. He was the seventh PBB All In housemate introduced on April 27, 2014.
Career
Garcia is a dancer and used to be a member of the Batangas cultural dance group, the Sining Kumintang. Apart from being a dancer, he also loves to play the guitar and the Filipinos' well-loved sport, basketball.
He is currently an artist of Star Magic. He started his acting career on the TV series Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita in 2015. He is also part of the powerhouse cast of the afternoon series The Greatest Love. He is best known for his critically acclaimed performances as Vince in the movie Vince and Kath and James where he won New Movie Actor of the Year in the 33rd Star Awards for Movies and as Caloy in the movie Love You to the Stars and Back. His other TV appearances include The Good Son, Maalaala Mo Kaya and the recently concluded Ngayon At Kailanman.
He was last seen as one of the lead stars in the primetime series The Killer Bride as Elias Sanchez.
Recently, the love team JoshLia, with him and Julia Barretto, separated. The reasons have been undisclosed due to the celebrities’ choice.
