Not notable enough for a Wikipedia article. Did not have a page until the 2020 Beirut explosions. ImYourTurboLover (talk) 00:04, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Didn't have an article until his involvement with a disaster today" is not a reason to assume someone doesn't meet notability criteria. Marwan Abboud didn't have an article until today either, and he's the governor, which definitely meets notability. DS (talk) 00:58, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep seems to be notable, two of the three references come before the explosion today, therefore I don't think WP:ONEEVENT applies here. It is common for biographical articles to be started after the subject's death, as sometimes more information or coverage is made public then. Inter&anthro (talk) 01:41, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - a secretary general of any political party or other organization is so obviously notable enough for a basic stub seeking expansion. Another frivolous deletion request. Ref (chew)(do) 05:51, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
