Follow up
I noted that Betano was in Portuguese Timor and that Teddy Sheehan was mentioned in despatches. The soldiers being landed were Netherlands East Indies soldiers. The only three Australian soldiers on board survived.--Anthony Staunton (talk) 23:32, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

the article itself was very good, perhaps a bit more background on his family would be nice. also some information regarding the submarine named after him and who christened it (Teddy's sister Ivy did). also the person who created this page cold talk about the book written about the event and the hapenings after the ship had gone down. the book is called "the ship that had to die" by Frank B. Walker. thanks |
