Shamsul Alam Pramanik is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament of Naogaon-4.

Career

Pramanik was elected to parliament from Naogaon-4 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1996 and 2001.[1] He was faced accusations of supporting Bangla Bhai, an Islamist terrorist, and his extremist organisation.[2] He was sued by the Government of Bangladesh for providing financial supporty to Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh, an extremist terrorist organisation, in 2008.[3][4]
