Pistachio pudding is a green pudding made invented by the hopi tribe. Earliest records of pistachio pudding used by the hopi tribe are from hundreds of years ago. When pioneer settlers came to America, natives gave them the recipe of pistachio pudding as a peace offering. It is a pudding made from pistachio nuts and occasionally contains small chunks of almonds. This pudding is also an ingredient in certain types of cakes, pies, muffins, pastries, and pistachio salad.
