Olevsk (Template:Lang-uk, translit. Olévs’k, Template:Lang-pl, Template:Lang-yi) is a city in Olevsk Raion, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Olevsk Raion. Population: 10,231 (2013 est.)[1] In 2001, population was 10,896.

Olevsk was first mentioned in 1488. In 1641 Olevsk was granted Magdeburg city rights by Polish King Władysław IV Vasa.

On November 15 or 21, 1941, in the midst of World War II, 500 Jews from Olevsk were taken to Varvarivka, where they were murdered.[2]
