@Roysmith: The article is of a notable Jayasurya. The master wants to promote a different, sixteen year old blogger Jayasurya Mayilsamy, and his works. User:JayasuryaTech, in addition, was indeffed for trying to recruit User:Bradv, of all people, to create an article on him after their own attempts failed. User:0lesson is all about promoting Mayilsamy, his book, his blog, his acting career and his web development skills, whichever ones of those may be real. As much is clear from the case history in the archives, which only lacks JayasuryaTech-related info who was blocked without an SPI, which I have just provided here. Hope this is enough.   • Given this user's significant edits to the draft page, and the number of sock puppet users who have contribute to the (now deleted) Amit Bhadana article, I'm quite suspicious that this user is connected to the others. However, the IP and technical information of the users who edited the article has long expired and gone stale. However, there may be checkuser notes and information on their wiki that they may have that can be used to compare information to this user, and there may be other users and information that they can use as well (I just don't know if they exist). Wikimedia steward's comment: According to loginwiki checkuser data, Tamilanawiki and SUSTAMI are likely the same user, which links both users with 0lesson. I'd like to ask for a sleeper check by enwiki CUs, as enwiki has more complete data than loginwiki. I've locked accounts I found.   • First edits: setting up user page. Socky.
  • Account has existed for a day, but within six hours they're adding tools to their common.js file.
  • First edit to common.js is almost identical to this one, which belonged to a previously suspected sock.
  • I think they may have an axe to grind with white hat editor TamilMirchi, as they seem to follow TM around as indicated here. I'm mentioning this just to note a behavioural thing. There's also stuff like this, where the sock creates a draft talk page and addresses TamilMirchi with no substantive comment. User did that a few times.
  • Oddly, I don't see any interactions between LiveOneDieOne and this new suspect, but I do notice two intersections between new sock and SUSTAMI, an account that is tagged as CU confirmed to the master.
  • Here Sustami is messing around with signature formatting, and we see the name TAMILANDA.
  • The same word, Tamilanda, appears here on Vettipaiyan's user page.
  • Sustami also has a proclivity for creating article talk pages, sometimes adding WikiProject templates.
  • Vettipaiyan did the same thing here

So, I think it's pretty clear that this is the same guy. Some other information to help establish a behavioural pattern: The new sock appears to be interested new page reviewer privs, likely so he can continue the UPE that the sockmaster was probably engaging in. Note also the poor grammar. "What i needed to become New page reviewer"

Here they use the Shortdesc helper to change a page's *good* description from 2020 romantic drama directed by Srikanth Nagothi to 2020 Film. Note the upper-case F. So poor English, poor judgment, questionable competency appear to be other behavioural indicators.

Requesting CU mostly to see if they match with some of the recent socks, but also to see if there are any sleepers, since this user was known to have multiple accounts open at the same time. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:19, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
