https://shodhganga.inflibnet.ac.in/bitstream/10603/205295/7/07_chapter%203.pdf has membership data for both parties as of 1971 and 1972. On one side it is a bit far from 1964 in time, and the numbers (especially the CPI ones) appear to be heavily inflated. Comparing 1958 NC with 1961 NC....

I came across this document, [2], which doesn't qualify as WP:RS. Notably the document includes some glaring errors (such as the description of RCPI factionalism in the end), but presumably follows CPI more closely. Looking at the list from the 1958 National Council, comparing with this document we can say;
