Los Angeles native Valentina L. Garza, also credited as Valentina Garza, is an award winning Cuban-American writer and producer on past shows including Jane the Virgin, The Simpsons, Bordertown, The Baker and the Beauty, and George Lopez. Garza was also the Executive Producer and writer of the Jane the Virgin spin-off pilot, Jane the Novela. She is currently under an Overall Deal with NBCUniverisal and has sold pilots to ABC, CBS, and FOX.

Garza graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Comparative Literature and resides in Los Angeles with her husband and children.

Garza also wrote the lyrics to "Small Strike Zone" and "Off to Work," "It's Time," and "Time to Say Goodbye" in her episodes of The Simpsons "Loan-a Lisa" and "Four Great Women and a Manicure".[1]
