International Wrestling Cartel

International Wrestling Cartel (IWC) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is currently owned and ran by Justin Plummer.

IWC was privately owned by founder Norm Connors until 2009 when he sold to then ring announcer Chuck Roberts. The promotion would be under the ownership of Chuck Roberts 2009 to 2014 before being sold to Justin Plummer. IWC holds live events and pay-per-views now exclusively on their streaming network, the IWC Network. Annual PPV events include Winner Takes All, Caged Fury, Reloaded, Night of the Superstars, and the long lasting Super Indy Tournament. In 2003, IWC would begin airing a weekly television show, on WBNG-TV, called IWC Ignition. IWC Ignition would run through 2005 and featured wrestlers such as CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Raven, and current IWC wrestler Jimmy Vegas.

In 2019, the promotion unveiled the IWC Network which allowed streaming of live events and a back-catalog of past events as far back as 2002. Produced by 2:1 Media, events began streaming live for IWC Network subscribers or available as one-time purchases.

International Wrestling Cartel has been considered the biggest, major wrestling promotion in western Pennsylvania. While IWC is nonetheless seen as a smaller promotion in comparison to WWE or AEW, such talent has worked or been trained in the Iron City Wrestling Academy; such as Elias, Cm Punk, Corey Graves, Britt Baker, Wardlow, Colt Cabana, Christopher Daniels, and AJ Styles.
