2012 film?
I just came across this article, why is it marked as Safe (2012 film) when it is set to release in 2011? Darkwarriorblake (talk) 00:10, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- Agreed. The film is clearly set to release in 2011 in Ireland. There are sources provided for this. Why wouldn't this release "count"? BOVINEBOY2008 00:28, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- This is what the mover said in his/her edit summary: "undid move, it is a USA production so that should be given deference, when fixing the "what links here" wikilinks almost every source (Yakin, Statham's, etc articles) mentioned it as a..". Apparently they aren't familiar with WP:FILMRELEASE. —Mike Allen 00:45, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
- Every other source had this marked as a 2012 release, and there were an equal number of links of the various interested parties (actors, director, production company, etc) that listed this as 2012 movie or had a wikilink to 2012 which redirected to 2011 before I moved the page to 2012 the first time. Also, take note that the WP:FILMRELEASE states "film's earliest release" or "release date of country that produced the film", it gives no guidelines for which one takes precendent. I would err on the side of 2012 for now, because it just officially got moved from October 2011 to March 2012 on Septermber 9 (date of the source referenced) so the fact that maybe the Irish sources have not yet been updated is a possibility. - The guideline uses the word and, not "or". The one that takes precedence is the one that is first. You can't say a film is a 2012 film when it premiered in 2011. BOVINEBOY2008 01:35, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Where is a source for a 2011 release?? It was shown in New York City in 2012, see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1656190/releaseinfo . No earlier date given. Misibacsi (talk) 20:38, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
Similarities to 'Mercury Rising'.
Has anyone noticed the similarities between this film and the film Mercury Rising, from 1998? 124.168.56.26 (talk) 09:32, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
There is an adult and a child in the story. What similarities!, yes, everyone noticed it. Misibacsi (talk) 20:40, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
