Moriguchi (守口市, Moriguchi-shi) is a city located in Osaka Prefecture, Japan which serves as a satellite city to Osaka. The city was founded on November 1, 1946.
As of March 2017, the city has an estimated population of 143,877 and a population density of 11,000 persons per km².[1] The total area is 12.73 km².
Moriguchi has the head offices of Panasonic and its subsidiary Sanyo.
