Mmoloki Saviour Cwaile is a South African politician who has served as a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature for the African National Congress since February 2019. In June 2019, he was appointed chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Premier, Finance, Cooperative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs.

Political career

Cwaile is a member of the African National Congress and a member of the party's provincial executive committee. He campaigned for Cyril Ramaphosa to become ANC president in 2017.[1]

On 5 February 2019, Cwaile was sworn in as a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature. He succeeded Ndleleni Duma, who died after a long illness.[2][3] He was elected to a full term in May 2019.[4] In June 2019, he was appointed chairperson of the legislature's Portfolio Committee on Premier, Finance, Cooperative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs.[5]
