Rachel Carson
Keep up the good work monitoring Rachel Carson and talking sense to recalcitrant editors. Just wanted to give you some encouragement.--ragesoss 00:08, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
According to WP:BLP, unsourced negative material should be removed immediately. If you have a source, go ahead and add it back with the source. Cogswobble 23:04, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- It is not negative unsourced material, but all unsourced material. I would recommend that some courtesy be shown, before you go destroying all unsourced material on living persons, you might be in bounds wiki-wise, but I don't know that looking up living people and deleting all unsourced material will win you many friends. FYI - The Talk section has a reference for the accusation of Foxification of PBS which you deleted.Cronos1 00:35, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, according to WP:BLP unsourced controversial material should be immediately removed, which is what I did. I don't see why you're offended by this. I see that you've added it back with a source, that's great. Those statements are fine with reliable sources, without sources they SHOULD be actively removed, according to WP:BLP.
