What is Kashmir Saffron?

Saffron (pronounced 'Saffran' or 'Zafran') is the Worlds costliest Spice, derived from the flower Crocus Sativus, commonly known as the "Saffron Crocus". The vivid Crimson stigma and styles, called Threads, are collected and dried for use. What makes Saffron a premium Spice is its eye-catching Colour, Texture, Flavour and Medicinal properties.

For over 2500 years, Kashmir has been the producer of the best variety of Saffron with known Medicinal properties.
