John Fleming- was a laywer in Goochland County, Virginia and had been in the House of Burgesses for 10+ years. John Fleming worked with John Robinson (Virginia) and Peyton Randolph for sometime. In 1764 he started to work with Patrick Henry, George Johnston (laywer), and Robert Munford on the Virginia Stamp Act Resolutions. His son later William Fleming replaced him to help Patrick Henry in 1775.
