Welcome to Wikipedia, HolSegel!

I'm Seagull123 and I want to welcome you to Wikipedia!

Wikipedia is an amazing community adventure which is constantly being edited. There are many different versions of Wikipedia for many different languages, and the English version has 6,935,914 articles which are written by volunteers like you and me! We even have a newspaper, The Signpost, to keep you up to date with news and new developments. Making your first steps on Wikipedia can be hard sometimes, so if you need any help, don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk page or ask a question on your talk page by clicking here. Someone will help you soon!

Wikipedia has five pillars which summarise Wikipedia's fundamental principles:

  1. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia
  2. Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view
  3. Wikipedia is free content that anyone can use, edit, and distribute
  4. Editors should treat each other with respect and civility
  5. Wikipedia has no firm rules

Again, welcome!

Help me!

Please help me with... I completed one edit on a page that was auto-suggested to me. I want to complete additional edits so that I can eventually upload an article of my own. How do I find other pages that need edits? HolSegel (talk) 14:08, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi HolSegel! Thanks for your contributions so far! I've left a welcome message at the top of this page which may be of interest to you. Also, for a page listing areas you can help improve/edit, go to WP:Task center and follow the links on that page. If you want anymore specific help, ask at the Teahouse, or you can click this link to ask a question, or just leave a message on my talk page. Seagull123 Φ 14:53, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
