Associated Studios is a top British drama school in the heart of London, offering industry leading Musical Theatre training.

Associated Studios was founded by renowned vocal coach Leontine Hass in 2007. In addition to part-time and full-time Musical Theatre courses taught by eminent industry practitioners, including West End Musical Directors, Directors, Choreographers, Writers, Composers, Casting Directors and leading artists, Associated Studios also runs Professional Development workshops for performers who are already working. Associated Studios is the only Performing Arts Academy in the UK to offer training for performers starting a career as well as industry professionals looking for ongoing professional development. Associated Studios is a registered educational charity and offers a few large bursaries for exceptionally talented performers who cannot afford Drama school training annually. Class sizes at the school are small and capped at a maximum of 20 per class to maximise individual attention and quality training for each participant. Participation is strictly by audition. Full-time courses culminate in a full public production at a professional theatre and a West End Industry showcase. Associated Studios engages its students and staff in outreach. Projects have included teaching drama and music workshops at Feltham Prison, Crisis Homeless Charity and performing in Hospital Wards. Associated Studios has recently opened a second branch in Melbourne, Australia. Currently Associated Studios is in the process of validating an MA in Musical Theatre Performance.

Premises

The school has recently relocated to a beautiful 3 floor building in Kensington and Chelsea. Comprising three large studios and two offices with wooden floorboards and ample natural light in a buzzing and creative street, just minutes from Portobello Road market and the tube, Associated Studios are now located at 204 Latimer Road, London W10 6QY.

Musical Theatre Courses

Various part-time and full-time Musical Theatre courses run throughout the year. The first one-year full-time Musical Theatre course started in September 2010. Since then, the school has established itself as one of the top British Drama schools, with an impressive alumni including many West End leads. Dance classes are streamed to cater for movers, as well as professional dancers. Associated Studios is renowned for training exceptional Singers and Actors. The school has built a reputation for training performers with a reliable and excellent vocal technique who can withstand the rigours of an 8-show week, as well as training performers to connect authentically to text and Acting through Song, making specific and in the moment choices.
